Laudato Si’:  On Care for Our Common Home

This seven week interactive course will focus on reading, understanding and applying the words of Pope Francis’ Encyclical to our lives, as individuals and as members of a parish, school, business and/or society.  It will be offered at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church starting on Tuesday, February 2 in the Msgr.  Foynes Parish Hall from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.  During each class, there will be small group discussions on how we can incorporate the ideas of the encyclical into our daily lives.

The book for the course is Laudato Si’: On Care for Our Common Home, published by Our Sunday Visitor Publishing Division (2015).This edition from Our Sunday Visitor has discussion questions which will be used in class.  The book may be purchased directly from the Parish Office at the time of registration. The cost of the book is $12.95

The course instructor is Mary Palamar, faculty emerita of Nazareth College of Rochester, New York.
