Elementary Religious Education
One of the
core ministries of our Church, Elementary Religious Education (grades K-6)
strives to bring children closer to their Catholic Faith. Children in grades
1 and 2 focus on the sacramental preparation required to receive the
sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Grades 4 through 6 curricula
integrates matters of Faith with the challenges of being a Christian in
today’s world.

Lifelong Mystagogia
A ministry
directed at ALL Catholics, it is intended to encourage fellow Catholics to
understand how they are called to participate in the continuing mission of
our Lord, Jesus Christ in this world, at this particular time in history, to
be the People of God as members of the Mystical Body of Christ. We listen,
read and discuss what it means to be Catholic Christians and how important
each individual is in this mission. We become practical, active “mystics” in
the Mystical Body of Christ. This means not seeking some rare, personal
supernatural experience of God, but to accept the fact that we are invited
to share, as community, in the mystery of God and Jesus Christ to promote
the Kingdom of God on earth. We find that when we do this, we also grow,
spiritually, in our personal relationship with the Triune God. This ministry
goes on and on as God continues to reveal to us deeper and more profound
understandings of His Life with us in the Holy Catholic Church.

Re-Membering Church
Re-Membering
Church is a ministry that reaches out to inactive Catholics to welcome them
back into active participation in the Church, no matter how long they have
been away. Within a warm, friendly group setting with a few active
Catholics, discussions are directed to their problems within the Church and
questions about the Church. There is no time limit to this program; some
people need only a very short time to decide to return, while others may
take months or even years to decide. Respect is given to all participants
and they are encouraged without pressure.
